Komparativ und Superlativ werden wie normale Adjektive gebeugt (вищий, вища, вище, вищі) und richten sich in Genus, Zahl und Fall nach dem Nomen.
Die meisten Adjektive: Stamm + -іш- + Endung.

Bei vielen Adjektiven mit Suffix (-к-, -ок-) fällt dieses weg, und -ш- steht direkt am Stamm. Dabei verschmelzen einige Laute:

Vor die unveränderte Grundform: більш цікавий, менш цікава, найбільш популярне. „Weniger“ gibt es nur so (менш). Bei vielen Adjektiven sind beide Wege möglich: ефективніший = більш ефективний.
Der Komparativ des Adverbs endet auf -ше / -іше (wie die neutrale Form), der Superlativ bekommt най-.

Comparative and superlative decline like normal adjectives (вищий, вища, вище, вищі) and agree with the noun in gender, number and case.
Most adjectives: stem + -іш- + ending.

For many adjectives with a suffix (-к-, -ок-) the suffix drops and -ш- stands directly on the stem. Some sounds merge:

Placed before the unchanged base form: більш цікавий, менш цікава, найбільш популярне. “Less” only exists this way (менш). For many adjectives both ways work: ефективніший = більш ефективний.
The comparative of an adverb ends in -ше / -іше (like the neuter form); the superlative adds най-.
